How do I place an order?
Fill out the contact info page and I will get back to you within 48 hours. Additionally, you can email me at 38thstreetsweets@gmail.com. to confirm availability. Custom orders usually require at least 3 plus weeks’ notice. Drop cookies and scones require 2-3 days’ notice and depend on availability.
What form of payment do you accept?
Once I receive your order, I will send you an invoice where there will be payment options to use a credit card and/or Paypal. You do not need a Paypal account to use this option. I also accept Venmo. Your order and date are not confirmed until payment is made in full.
Where are you located?
We are located in the greater Seattle area.
Do you provide shipping?
No, due to Washington state cottage food laws shipping is unavailable. Local pick-ups only, in the greater Seattle area.
How are your cookies and scones packaged?
Drop cookies, scones, and bars are packaged in cello bags and closed with a twist tie. Decorated cookies are individually packaged in cello bags that are heat sealed.
How long will your baked goods stay fresh?
Scones are best eaten within 1-2 days. Otherwise, they should be frozen and put in an airtight container or ziplock bag. To defrost remove from freezer the night before and allow them to come to room temperature in an airtight container. Then reheat in the microwave for around 15 seconds or in the oven at 350 degrees for 5 minutes.
Drop cookies are best eaten within 2-3 days. They can be frozen in an airtight container or ziplock bag.
Cookies decorated with royal icing will stay fresh for 2-3 weeks in their vacuum sealed cello bag at room temperature. Do not refrigerate, the moisture will cause the icing to weep. These cookies can be frozen. To defrost remove from freezer and allow them to come to room temperature completely before removing from the heat-sealed bag or container.
Cookies decorated with buttercream frosting should be consumed within 3 days.
